Real Competitions

Brisbane Fairways

Brisbane Fairways Golf Club is best described as a travelling Golf Club. A Golf Club, without a home base. We play a range of courses from Sunshine Coast to Coolangatta and everywhere in-between.

We hold our own Club Championships, MatchPlay Tournament, 4 Ball Best Ball Championship and much more! We like to promote the social side of golf, with our members changing playing partners from game to game.

Formerly known as Calamvale Fairways Social Golf Club, the club changed name to Brisbane Fairways Golf Club on April 1, 2012.

What people say about us

I had played golf as a junior over 20 years ago, work/life balance saw golf take a backwards step though I always missed the game. Found this club online and took the leap at something new and I'm so glad I did, the members completely made me feel welcome from day one. The variety of courses is amazing and I'm still going to new courses nearly 4 years on. I look forward to many more enjoyable years with Brisbane Fairways.

I joined Brisbane Fairways when I arrived in Brisbane 6 years ago. I hadn’t really ‘played’ golf before but was ready to give it a try.

I can remember my first game, and the support I received even as I hacked my way around. I have now played over 100 games with Brisbane Fairways, and each week I look forward to playing with those same members who I can honestly call friends. The friendships, the variety of courses, the club, all that makes the competition we play each week so enjoyable.

As a long time social golfer, I was keen to take the next step and get an official handicap. So I joined Brisbane Fairways.  And found a very professionally run club that allows you to play a great variety of courses across SE Queensland, including some of Australia's best courses. I would recommend Brisbane Fairways not just to get a Golflink handicap but because it is a great club; excellently run and organised, offering regular games at a range of courses and attracts other golfers who will make every round a good time.
